Meet Heather

Heather was trapped in the darkness of a 20-year marriage to a controlling man who professed to be a Christian. His demeaning words and actions had stripped her of her sense of self-worth, identity, and value. She was afraid to tell anyone.

Trying to survive each day, she felt alone, hopeless, and unsafe.

She wasn’t sure she wanted to wake up the next morning. But God had a plan for Heather!

A woman from church guided her to the Oasis Bible Study. Through these safe and confidential online support classes and a caring facilitator, Heather learned how much God loved her and was her source of worth and value. This was the light needed in her darkness to embrace His love and feel emotionally and spiritually free.

Today, Heather is a beacon of hope for others. She has helped over 40 women impacted by domestic abuse discover their identity in Christ. In the Fall of 2024, she planned and led our first-ever gala in Harrisburg, PA. She is now our first official Living Waters of Hope Advocate.

We are so blessed to have her sharing her wisdom with you during this webinar.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy. It does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not-self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails.
